At our East Antrim u3a group in Carrickfergus you will learn a mix of line dances based on ballroom and sequence dancing like Latin, tango and many more, we even throw in a Gay Gordons from time to time.
Comments from some our members:
“I expected the line dancing group to be country music and all stomping around. I am so pleased that this is not the case. The music is varied and the dances are a whole range from waltz to Charleston and a lot in between.”
“Line dancing is great fun. I am laughing from the start to the finish. Mainly at myself as I fumble with the steps. The best thing is no one is watching or judging.”
So, join us for a fun, inclusive and supportive environment for individuals to socialise, exercise the body and mind and enjoy music without needing a partner.
A WhatsApp group will be sent up so that communications are made easily.
