WALK – CARRICKFERGUS RESERVOIRS

Meeting Point – Forest Car Park, couple of miles up  Woodburn Road just before Woodburn Presbyterian Church. Meet at 10.45

Transport  – By car

Walk – Approx 3 – 4 miles, 1.5 – 2 hours

Walk Route:

From the car park we will go down through the forest to the middle reservoir.  We will make an almost complete circuit of this reservoir then go up the steps to the top reservoir before making the return journey to the car park. The paths may be muddy in places due to the recent rainfall so please wear good footwear.

Lunch – For those who want to go for lunch after the walk the nearest place is Seasons, Marshallstown Road.  There are several other places in Carrickfergus where lunch can be obtained.

Please note there are no toilet facilities available at the reservoirs but there are at Seasons.
