Browns Bay Headland & Seafront – Friday 31st July

Meeting Point: Browns Bay carpark 10.45 pm

Transport : By car.

Walk: Leave carpark and walk short distance along shore and up a slight incline to the headland.

The walk is mainly flat along the grassy headland to wooden stile. For those who want a slightly longer walk we can continue over the stile and walk further along headland. On a good day views are amazing.

Return by same route and then walk full length of coast road to end of the beach.

Directions: Drive past Carrickfergus and follow main road past Whitehead and continue for approx 2  miles until you come to turn off on right for Islandmagee. 

Drive over bridge and follow road until roundabout.

Turns left at roundabout and follow the Low Rd for approx 3 mls. 

Take turn off on right marked  Browns Bay, and continue down to the carpark. 

Lunch: The Greedy Gannet at The Gobbins Centre.
