Walk:                                 Bangor Station to Groomsport

Meeting Point:                             Bangor railway station at 11.15am

Distance:         Short walk:    Bangor Station to Ballyholme beach and return 2.9 miles.

Long Walk:     Bangor Station to Groomsport via Ballyholme and Ballymacormick Point 3.8 miles. Part of this walk is on a stony, mostly flat path and could be slightly muddy on wet days.

Trains: To Lanyon Place:        Whitehead 9.45am                   Carrickfergus 9.54am

                                                            Trooperslane 10.00am           Greenisland 10.03am

                                                            Jordanstown 10.06am                           Whiteabbey 10.10am

Arriving in Lanyon Place at 10.22am.

Then Bangor train from Lanyon Place at 10.42am Arrive Bangor at 11.15am

Restaurants in Groomsport:               Cottage Kitchen (café)   &  The Stables

                                                            The Groomsport Inn – food served all day

Return Bus from Groomsport to Bangor Station:   12.35pm, 1.35pm, 2.35pm, 3.35pm, 4.35pm, 5.35pm

Return Trains from Bangor Train Station at 25 & 55mins past the hour.

Parking available across the road from the Train Station.

Toilets available at Bangor Station.
