Monkstown Woods Walk

Short Walk: – Approx. 4 miles

 Meeting Point: – Loughshore Carpark at 11.00a.m.

 Transport

Either by car or bus to Loughshore Park Jordanstown

or: Train, Whitehead 10.15am, Downshire 10.21, Carrickfergus 10.24,

Trooperslane 10.30, Greenisland 10.33, Jordanstown 10.36.

 Walk

Circular walk thorough Monkstown Woods to Hillside Garden Centre for lunch and then return to Loughshore.

The outward journey will use the smaller tracks with some steep parts and steps and some of the tracks may be muddy. The return will use the main track which is tarmac

 Toilets – Available at Loughshore and at Hillside.
