Train times – Whitehead 10.15, Carrick 10.24, Trooperslane 10.30, Greenisland 10.33,
Jordanstown 10.36, Whiteabbey 10.40 arrives Gt Victoria Street 11.00
We will then take 11.15 Bus No. 238 to Hillsborough
Return bus times are 14.07, 14.37, 15.07, 15.37
Walk Route
From Bus stop up to St Malachys Church, past Hillsborough Fort, a full circuit around the lake keeping to the path at the waters edge. There are numerous viewing platforms round the lake which will give people interested a good opportunity to see the water fowl on the lake. The walk is mostly fairly level and on well maintained paths.
Lunch – We hope to have lunch at Hillside Bar/ Restaurant . There are other coffee houses and places to eat within the village.
Toilets – Available at village car park and at Hillside Restaurant.
