Carnfunnock Walk

Meeting Place – Drains Bay car park at 11.00am

Duration – Approx 1 1/2  to 2 hours – Distance  3-4 miles

Walk – Starting at Drains Bay car park we will walk along the road to Carnfunnock and follow the lower path to the Café. From there we will go through the walled garden and then through the nature trail,  round to Cairndhu House and back to the café for lunch.

After lunch we will walk up to the higher path which gives lovely views across the sea and back to Drains Bay car park. For those not wishing to make this climb they can go back to Drains Bay from the cafe. 

Terrain – Mostly good fairly level paths with some steeper inclines. There are alternative routes round these steeper inclines. Some of the paths may be muddy due to the amount of recent rainfall.

Refreshments – Lunches, snacks are available at the Park Café or walkers may bring their own packed lunch.

Toilets are available at the Café and at Drains Bay car park.
