Portrush to Portstewart – Short Walk

Short Walk – Approx 4 miles, 1 1/2 hours

Meeting Point: Portrush Railway Station 11.55am

Public Transport

Train Whitehead 9.45am, Carrickfergus 9.54, etc Arrive Yorkgate 10.16

Change train to Portrush 10.24am, Mosley West 10.33, arrive Portrush 11.55

Walk – Mostly by footpath from Portrush to Portstewart

Lunch – There will be numerous eating places available including Amici Restaurant en route

Toilets  – At Portrush station or public toilets on Kerr Street before we walk on West Strand

To return from Portstewart there are buses available at 22 and 52 minutes past the hour from the promenade back to Portrush. Journey time 13 mins.

Trains from Portrush back to Yorkgate are at 3 mins past the hour
