How to get there on public Transport:  9.45am train from Whitehead to Lanyon Place Station arriving at 10.21am.  Calling at Downshire (9.51am), Carrickfergus (9.54am), Clipperstown (9.56am), Troopers Lane (10.00am), Greenisland (10.03am), Jordanstown (10.06am), Whiteabbey (10.10am), Lanyon Place (10.21am) Change at Lanyon Place for 10.29am train to Portadown alighting at Moira Railway station at 11.12am

Returning home:  The walk finishes at Moira Railway Station where there are trains every ½ hour to Great Victoria leaving Moira station at 28 and 58 minutes past the hour.

Refreshments: Participants can bring their own refreshments such as sandwiches and a flask, or if they wish at the end of the walk make their own personal dining arrangements. The Alchemy (formally the Tannery) is the nearest restaurant. 

Do carry water especially if the weather is hot.
