More New Year Announcements..

The amount raised in Tombola at the Christmas Function was £235, which I think was massive.

Next time, Margaret has booked for Wednesday 16th December 2020 for this year’s dinner, so make a note on your new calendars or diaries so you don’t miss out!

The Bring and Buy is now scheduled for February meeting so Monday 18 February 2020.

A personal note of thanks to Margaret Liggett, our Events Coordinator for all the huge efforts she has made arranging all our events, since joining the committee last year.

Found: One of our members phoned me after the Loughshore event to ask if anyone had handed in a gift bag she left behind. I cannot remember exactly who it was, but it has been found and is in the office at Nelson Street, ready for collection from Monday next week.

Arts and Crafts Exhibition: Again, we have been invited to display our arts and crafts at Carrick Civic Centre for the two weeks starting Saturday 30 May 2020 with set up on the Friday 29 May. Please do take part, and giving this notice gives for no excuses except if you don’t want to sell any of your work! Handmade Crochet, crafts, jewellery, pottery, watercolour, drawings, oil and acrylic paintings all accepted. If there’s anything you aren’t sure of then please ask.

Our new chairs have been delivered and Teresa, Robin, Mike and I unpacked them yesterday so they’re all ready for you to sit upon!

Nelson Street is fully operational again from Monday 6th January, but please check on the website or check with your group coordinator, if you are unsure when your group restarts.
