Canoe – tester-day

Location: Carrickfergus Harbour.
Date: Monday 23 July in two sessions 11:00am to 1:00pm  and  2:00pm to 4:00pm
If demand is high: This event may be repeated on Tuesday 24th and/or Monday 30th July
Cost: £8.00 per person.
Dress: Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting wet ( i.e. walking gear ) and a change of clothes in case you do.

The Summer School ” Come and Try Canadian Canoeing”  is open to all members of the U3A and their families. Canadian canoes  will be available and may be rafted (tied together for stability) if necessary. The cost of £8 per adult is a donation to EAU3A.

The Event is being hosted by Belfast Kayak Club so participants will be covered by their Insurance. It will therefore be necessary for each adult to complete a (membership form / disclaimer)  or permission for a minor.

Personal buoyancy will be supplied and most be worn

This is an opportunity to have a go under the watchful and careful supervision
of an experienced leader in a protected environment.
