Bangor Station to Strickland Glen Walk

Meeting Point:            Bangor railway station at 11.15am

Date: Friday 14th June

Leaders:            Maura,Daryl & Ellie

 Short walk:   Bangor Station to Strickland Glen and return 2.2 miles

Flat terrain until a slight incline into the Glen. We return the same route back with Lunch at the Crawfordsburn Inn. For those who want a shorter walk, Bangor West station is only minutes away  otherwise we return same route back to Bangor station.Return trains every half hour.

Trains:               To Lanyon Place Whitehead 9.45a.m, Carrickfergus 9.54a.m

 Trooperslane 10.00a.m, Greenisland 10.03a.m,  Jordanstown 10.06a.m,

Whiteabbey 10.10a.m

Arriving in Lanyon Place at 10.22am.

Then Bangor train from Lanyon Place at 10.42am Arrive Bangor at 11.15am

Toilets available at Bangor Station.
