Walk from Larne Leisure Centre Car Park to the Black Arch.

ByCar: Follow the Shore Road (A2) from Carrickfergus to Larne. Follow the signs to Larne town centre and at the roundabout with the large crown in the centre take the 3rd exit at the roundabout towards the coast road but then at the first set of traffic lights, about 400 yards after the roundabout turn right. There is a sign for Larne Leisure centre. Follow the road and take the 1st left into Tower Road and the Leisure Centre is at the end of the road on the left.
By Train: J/Town 10.09, Greenisland 10.12, Carrickfergus 10.20, Whitehead 10.31, Larne Town 10.46.
Leisure Centre. Approx 15 – 20 minute walk from the station..
There is a sign for Larne Leisure centre. Follow the road and take the 1st left into Tower Road and the Leisure Centre is at the end of the road on the left.

Alternatively those taking the train can be picked up at the station by Anne & Jim or others who have taken their cars.
Return trains are at 2 minutes before the hour from Larne Town, every hour.
Walk: The walk will be along the promenade to the Shore Road. There is one small incline that will be taken slowly. We will then walk on the well surfaced Shore Road footpath towards Drains Bay to the Black Arch and back again to the Leisure Centre going via Chaine Park and back down to the shore.
Lunch: A choice of the Prom Café at the Leisure Centre or the Curran Court Hotel or various cafes etc in Larne e.g. Creed.
Anne & Jim can pick up 3 people at Larne station if required.
