The walk will be approximately 4 miles, which will take approximately 3 hours.

The walk commences downhill to Doagh Road. There are a few steep inclines (1 in 4) of concrete paths and stony uneven surfaces. There are two stiles to climb over which would require a person the lift their leg high. There will be plenty of time to rest, take our time and enjoy the views. The goal is a viewing point where we will have a rest.

Walkers are advised to bring a packed lunch, snack, water or other drink. The nearest place to eat is Hillside Garden Centre. Sturdy shoes required.

I will bring walking poles for those who require them.

Journey back is all downhill, when hopefully we will see an abundance of wild flowers.

Return journey by train;

Whiteabbey 13.35 and 14.02
