University of Ulster/ Whiteabbey Loughshore Park Walk

By Train

From Jordanstown Railway Station head down the Jordanstown Road to The Lough Shore Park.

It takes 15-20 mins to walk from Jordanstown station down to Lough Shore carpark.

By Car/ Bus:

Meet at Lough Shore Park, Jordanstown

Meet: Loughshore car park : 10.45am, depart 11.00am   

Length: 2.7 mls.   Time: 2 hours approx.. including lunch.

 Route: Follow main entrance path into grounds of University, turn right and follow path straight up to, and past the Sports Centre.

Follow path right around the perimeter of the playing fields , and then out onto the Jordanstown Road.

Walk down road and turn right and head for Whiteabbey Village for lunch.

Lunch can be taken in either SoZo or Whose,  there are also 1-2 other places to eat if anyone wants.

Head back to Loughshore car park.

Route is very flat with paved or gravel pathways.
