Carnfunnock Walk – Friday 28th June

Meeting Place – Drains Bay car park at 11.00am

Duration – Approx 1 1/2  to 2 hours – Distance  3-4 miles

 Walk – Starting at Drains Bay.

There are toilets at Drains Bay and Carnfunnock Country Park.  

Coffee/ tea are available at the play area but you will need to bring a packed lunch.

We will walk along the road to Carnfunnock, stop off at the play area for anyone that wants a coffee/ tea and then go to the walled garden and follow the woodland walk which may be muddy and has some inclines. If the weather is fine we will have lunch at the picnic tables at the view point and then continue the walk returning to Drains Bay.

 If it looks as if it will be wet we can have an early lunch in the covered area at the information centre (unfortunately the cafe is closed)
