Blackhead Path Walk – Whitehead on 4th June

Starting Point: Harbour Car Park Whitehead at 11.0pm

Travel: By Public Transport – Train to Whitehead from Carrickfergus at 10.20
J/town 10.09, G/Island 10.12
Those not wishing to use public transport can drive to the car park

Route: Along the shore path to the lighthouse, up the steps and back to Whitehead
Along the country lane.

Terrain: Mostly flat except for the steep walk up steps to lighthouse.

Duration: 1 ½ hours approx.

Lunch: Due to covid protocol I am leaving it up to individuals if and where they may
Wish to eat. Eg Whitehead Golf Club, or various cafes back in Whitehead

This is the first walk by the walking group since the first lockdown last year and I hope to make a list of future walks shortly so please come along and bring your own ideas for these walks.
