Train from Carrickfergus at 9.24 arriving at Gt Victoria Street at 10.00
Downpatrick Bus leaves Gt Victoria Street at 10.30 and arrives in Crossgar at 11.18
The walk is around 3 miles with an option of visiting an exhibition of Keith Drury’s art, admission is free.
Lunch is booked around 12.45 at AJ’s in Crossgar.
Buses leave Crossgar to Gt.Victoria Street at 13.55, 14.30, 14.55, 15.15 and 15.35

Tobar Mhuire is a retreat centre in the heart of Crossgar, set in 55 acres of woodland. Visitors can enjoy a relaxing stroll through the grounds exploring some of the unique heritage including Mary’s Well (a holy well), Victorian walled garden and a spectacular view of the Mourne Mountains and Co Down landscape.
