Four possible walks
1. Yellow + Orange 3.5Km.
2. Yellow + Orange + Circle through Hazelbank Park and Gideon's Green 5.5Km
3. Yellow + Blue 6.5Km
4. Orange + Blue 7.6Km
To Hazelbank 1.2Km
Yellow route:This is the most direct route from the station to the park. It is along well paved path with some road crossings. There are some steps but these can be avoided if necessary. Elevation starts at about 30m and decends to almost sea level.
Start from either platform and head down hill to Shore Road.
To Hazelbank 2.3Km
Orange route:This is a longer route from the station to the park. It is along well paved path with some road crossings. There are some steps but these can be avoided if necessary. Elevation starts at about 30m and decends to almost sea level.
Start from platform 1, leaving by the footpath that leads to Dillon Avenue. It is on the Carrickfergus side of the platform shelter.
The main walk 5.3Km
Blue route: It is along well paved path with some road crossings. There are some steps but these can be avoided if necessary. Elevation starts at almost sea level and climbs to 64meters.
Hazelbank Park, Gideons Green, Glas-na-Braden Glen, Rathcoole Estate, O'neill Road and finally Station Road back to the railway station.
